This mod was created as a sign of respect for the Cave Story game by Doukutsu Monogatari. I watched my brother play Cave Story on the Wii, and I wanted to do something in honor of it; creating this mod brought back a lot of pleasant memories.

I created the weapon to match the retro aesthetic of the source. Everything about animation, interface elements, movements, sound design and effects is done intentionally.

"Usetool" for shooting
"Grab" for aiming
"Shift" to activate Booster 2.0
"Alt" - to grab a weapon
"Middle mouse button" - juggling
"Grab" + "Middle mouse button" to throw.
