Makes your computer cry, but it's so nice. Progressive Destruction Mod is the most poorly written mod in the history of Teardown. But it's fun! Has a ton of features:
The full specifications are below, but a little information: Wind/FORCE has a lot of settings, but the most important are the three buttons at the bottom:
- START ON - The wind force will slowly increase from the very beginning of the level.
- ALLOW HOTKEYS - If you don't click on the "start on" button for wind, you will need to enable this button. Otherwise, the wind will be created, but you will not be able to activate it.
- HOTKEY HELP - shows the text for the three wind buttons on the screen during the passage of the level.
If you enable the ALLOW HOTKEYS function:
- button . (full stop/point) completely turns off or turns on the wind.
- The button, (comma) turns off or turns on the visual marker showing the wind direction in red.
- The M (emmm) button suspends the wind direction in the position it is in when the button is pressed.
LIST OF FUNCTIONS
**PRESETS**
With more than 100 configurable parameters, a preset system has been added to automatically adjust the entire mod to some presets. It is planned to add a few more.
**FRAME RATE MANAGEMENT**
On maps with a large number of dynamic lights, you can turn them off and on to reduce FPS.
It has three different garbage filters (the main reason for lags).
>> The "Small garbage" filter removes small garbage, which greatly reduces FPS (adjust the aggressiveness and size of the garbage to be removed).
>> The low frame rate filter is a separate filter. If the FPS starts to drop, set a limit on the size of the deleted fragments. (setting the aggressiveness and the size limit of the deleted fragments).
>> The distance filter is a separate filter. Removing garbage located at a great distance to save FPS (the distance and aggressiveness parameters are adjusted, the minimum size is taken from the above LFF).
There are also targeted frame rate settings and a global aggressiveness setting that allows you to remove garbage much faster. Keeps the frame rate stable, but noticeably removes garbage.
**DUST**
Make pieces of debris generate smoke or dust. Creating giant clouds of dust, changing the color of dust and adjusting a number of parameters, ranging from size to the minimum size/speed at which garbage must move in order to turn into dust.
**CRUMBLING.**
This leads to the fact that the fragments of destroyed objects next to them sometimes break away from the building. This can be set up in such a way that piles of debris lead to the destruction of floors.
Or, conversely, increase the frequency of destruction so that the debris breaks off pieces of walls and floor/base, which will then eat up pieces of the wall from which they broke off... Watch whole buildings eat themselves up!
**EXPLOSIONS**
Debris can be made to explode, creating even more debris.
You can also adjust the effects and power of the smoke from the explosion by default, as well as the color of the explosion!
WIND/FORCE/GURRIKAN/TORNADO/GRAVITY, etc.
>> Make the levels fly to pieces under a strong wind that slowly rotates to fan the storm from all sides.
>> Change gravity so that things float in the air, stick to the ceiling or are so strong that they fall through the floor or crumble under gravity.
>> Make gravity turn into a vertically rotating clockwise motion, moving up the walls, along the ceiling and back down.
>> You can also set the "jitter" mode, in which objects are picked up by random impulses of movement and rotation, which resembles a scene from the movie "The Beginning", where everything is torn apart.
>> You can also set only one direction, but it's a bit boring.
**CRAZY FIRE**
Make objects light up excessively :)
** PHYSICAL VIOLENCE**.
Similar to FORCE jitter, but instead of being applied to all objects, only applied to some, sometimes.
**COST OF DAMAGE**
Statistics of damage caused by you in more than 28 currencies.
**DESTRUCTION OF JOINTS**.
It works very well on dynamic buildings or objects connected together. Makes things fly to pieces.
I hope you like the mod! Be sure to watch the video, I spent a lot of time on it and made great music.
More than 110 customizable options. Just watch the video, please. I've spent ages on it. |
