Mod Tire Sound v1.0.0.0 for Farming Simulator 2022

This global script adds tire sound to all tractors, provided that the maximum speed of each tractor is at least 30 km/h. The sound is heard only when the tractor is driven fast enough on the road, in fields or dirt roads there is no sound from the tires. The sound is slightly different depending on the tires; A distinction is made between conventional tractor mud tyres, narrow care tyres, track tyres, and Nokian tyres.

Some tractors from the base game already have tire sound starting with FS22, so the sound is disabled by default. You can turn on the sound when buying a tractor in the store, where you can also adjust the volume (from 40% to 300%). If you have already bought a tractor in the game, you need to drive up to the workshop to turn on the sound. The recommended volume setting is between 100% and 125% for tractors with original Giants sound, and often more for tractor mods.

You can change the default config setting in "modDesc.xml" with "defaultVolumeConfigPercent". If the config range is not enough for you, you can change the volume in the "tireSound.xml" file (located in the "sounds" folder) using "volumeScale". However, usually no changes to the XML files are required.
