Version 1.0.0.7
1. RealNumbersCropGrowth.lua. This script allows the user of the mod to define unique crop growth calendars for each saved game. This allows the user to create realistic harvest calendars for maps in different regions/states/countries.
The user specifies the month of sowing and the month of harvest for each type of crop. The script then adjusts the growth state transitions so that the crop reaches the harvest state on the specified harvest month.
The script works with two growth cycles for each crop. In this way, you can achieve many different types of loops.
1 cycle: make the parameters of both cycles the same.
1 winter sowing cycle and 1 spring sowing cycle.
2 spring sowing cycles in parallel.
2 harvest cycles in a row.
The script limits the harvest season to one month for each crop. Each cycle has its own harvest month.
The user can disable the rolling requirement for each crop.
Take a look at the uploaded images.
Warning. The script can change the crop growth calendar in your save game. The safest approach is to start a new save. If you want to use the mod in an existing save game, it is possible, but it may change the growth cycle of crops already sown. Most likely, the crop will not reach the harvest state in the specified harvest month. Everything should work as intended for crops after installing the script.
2. RealNumbersFieldPrices.lua. This script now uses the xml file. This allows the user to create unique lists of rental fields for each saved game. Also the price per hectare and the cost of rent can be set uniquely for each conservation.
The distribution zip file now contains three additional folders.
FarmingData: Documents with growth calendars for EU and US. It also contains an excel file with lots of relevant data for EU agriculture (yields, prices, etc.).
Documents: A library of pdf files with information on crops, animals and agricultural technology.
Version 1.0.0.6
1. Reads XML files of modified game parameters. This version responds to frequent requests for modified game settings to be saved in xml files. This has several advantages. (a) You don't have to redo editing all of your personal game settings every time a new version of the mod is published. (b) You can have multiple sets of XML files, one set for each saved game. This means that you can customize the game settings according to the region, state, or country of your cards.
You can edit values in xml files. If you change the parameter names or add new parameter names, they will not be read.
2. XML files. Currently, the xml files are custom versions of fruitTypes.xml, fillTypes.xml, and sprayTypes.xml.
3. RealNumbersHarvestBonusScaling.lua. This mod allows the user to change the crop bonus when rolling, mulching, ploughing, etc. This has not been tested. Please let me know if this actually works.
4. Unzip the distribution file. You need to unzip the distribution file. Read the installation instructions and place the mod's xml files and zip file as described.
