ENHANCED ANIMAL SYSTEM V2.1.0.0
0 645 149

List of changes 2.1.0.0:
1.) Feature: Sheep and goats are now separated into separate breeds (male ram and goats are lost in the update).
2.) Feature: Swiss cows are back.
3.) Change: Animal health only decreases after 12 hours of overpopulation.
4.) Fix: If there are already other animals installed on the map besides cows, pigs, sheep, horses and chickens, only they will be overwritten. All others remain and are loaded from the map.
5.) Fix: Animals can now get older than 60 months.
6.) Fix: Horses are rideable again.
7.) Bugfix: Animals no longer change their texture at long distances.

List of changes 2.0.0.0:
1.) New feature: Several new animal images (thanks to Andy the farmer for the approval).
2.) New feature (item 5.): The offspring of an animal can be male or female.
3.) Bugfix: when you take young animals from a farm with a trailer, the menu was not updated.
4.) Correction: more animals could be selected in the menu than the farm contains.
5.) Bugfix: Improved synchronization.
6.) Bugfix: Fixed a bug that could cause animals to disappear when entering a stable.

List of changes 1.1.0.0:
1.) New feature (item 4.) where animals can be removed at 0% health.
2.) Correction: If you did not enter a value for overcrowding in livestock, then errors occurred when saving.
3.) Bugfix: The current overflow state should now also sync in multiplayer.

This script corrects four points:
1. Animals no longer receive only one animal as offspring, but specially many for the corresponding animal species (with dispersion).
2. stables can be overcrowded with offspring, but this affects the health of the animals. In addition, animals that no longer fit in the barn can be sold directly. This can be set in the animal menu.
3. Animals that are too old will be randomly deleted
4. animals with 0% health will be removed
5. offspring of animals can be male or female

More detailed explanation:
K 1.)
The default values for descendants are as follows.

Cows:
0 animals -> 1% chance
1 animal -> probability c 98
2 animals -> 1% chance

Pigs:
8 animals -> 20% chance
9 animals -> 20% chance
10 animals -> 20% chance
11 animals -> 20% chance
12 animals -> 20% chance

Sheep:
0 animals -> 1% chance
1 animal -> probability c 59
2 animals -> 30% chance
3 animals -> 10% chance

Horses:
0 animals -> 1% chance
1 animal -> 98% chance
2 animals -> 1% chance

Chickens:
9 animals -> 20% chance
10 animals -> 20% chance
11 animals -> 20% chance
12 animals -> 20% chance
13 animals -> 20% chance

K 2.)
There are two modes that can be set in the stable menu.

Mode 1.)
If the stable is full and new animals are born, they are sold directly. Here, the normal price of the animal from the game/card is taken minus 25% of the transport costs. It is important to note that chickens cost 0 € if they are just born.

Mode 2.)
Resolve crowding in the barn. This is possible by default up to 100%. This means that a stable with 100 seats can accommodate 200 animals. However, this is only possible through birth, and not through the purchase of new animals! This mode is designed so that new animals can then be distributed even to other stables. If the stable has to be overcrowded, the health of the animals is affected. Health decreases based on overcrowding, every hour if the barn is overcrowded for more than 12 hours. It goes from 0 to 5%. This means that if minimal crowding is present, only health stagnates. In the worst case, it decreases by 5% per hour. If there is also a lack of food, health can drop even more.

K 3.)
Old animals will be deleted with a 5% chance. This is calculated once a month when the animal reaches its maximum age. The default values are set as follows.

Cows 300 months or 25 years
Pigs 180 months or 15 years
Sheep 144 months or 12 years
Horses 360 months or 30 years
Chickens 180 months or 15 years

K 4.)
Animals with 0% health can be removed if this setting is enabled in the menu.

up to 5.)
Animals can now have male or female offspring. The probability of what gender it will be is 50:50.

Important Tips:
- Chickens now produce dung if there is dung in the coop itself.
- Female horses will be reset with update 2.1.0.0.
Goats produce goat milk, not wool. To do this, however, goat's milk must be blocked in the barn (instruction attached: GoatMilkInstruction.txt) or use sheep barns with goat's milk support from T4xs (Modname: FS22_husbandryGoatMilk).
- If modders don't want their animal xml file to be overwritten, they can now add the doNotOverwriteAnimals key to their map animal xml file.
