The extended map "Italia Emilia" is the result of almost three years of work. The first part was released for Farming Simulator 19 and now the map has been expanded for Farming Simutator 22 with this new version.
This project required a huge amount of work (nearly 1500 hours in total) as we wanted to challenge ourselves to design every building and every detail from scratch - every street, every railroad, every building and every fence is made in-house. The goal was to give the player a completely new gaming experience, both in terms of graphics and (as we'll see later) gameplay.

Like any good playable map, each player has their own backstory to choose from, and Italy Emilia is no exception. We wanted to create an infinite number of branches for the player to follow in order to create a story that was both engaging yet infinitely unique. The map is heavily centered around the "career" and how it intertwines with buildings, farms, livestock, and other interactive map objects. As an example, a player wants to start a save game with no funds and no farmland. After completing just a few missions, the player will be able to buy "Deposito Ferroviario" (Railway depot) for 8,000 euros or purchase a farm Capanno Nuovo (New barns) for 19,000 euros with the most necessary for the gameplay - a couple of barns, a small granary, an overnight stay. A trigger and a few smaller details that are useful to the player. This is where the story begins. The player progresses, earns money, buys more land, more buildings, invests in warehouses, factories and opens doors for animal husbandry. All this while monitoring the financial situation, a reasonable investment for maximum income.

For a player who wants to start their career, your career starts with Masseria Azzurra (Azure Farmhouse), one of the small and easy to manage farms with a simple chicken coop to pave the way for animal husbandry, work starts here. Buy livestock farms, buy silo trenches and huts, expand and develop new territories! The ascent is not only metaphorical, but also a very real reminder that the ascent to the goal, having reached the farm at the top of the highest point of the map, has begun - the ascent of the Masseria Italia (Italian farmhouse). This elaborate farm has pastures for all kinds of animals, 2.5 hectares of farmland, 5 hectares of fully recycled custom-made vineyards and a wine cellar to turn your grapes into the finest wines worth over 5.2 million euros!

So, again, the goal of the Italia Emilia expansion was to give the player a completely new gaming experience. Following the Italian style and following endlessly varied directions, the Italia Emilia expansion allows its players to use their imagination and write their own story of building a successful farm!
