You have arrived in Fjorddal, a fictional valley in the west of Norway.
This map was created to show a beautiful view from the main farm on the map and include some interesting and slightly unrealistic elements, such as an island with two bridges and a ferry.
I also played around with making the train pass over these two bridges, through the chocolate factory and even into a tunnel that you can ride through, into the mountain where the point of sale is, which I think makes the map completely unique.
To get a ferry, you need to download the ferry package, which is designed for PC only. This means that console players will have to use bridges.
There are steep fields on the map, like in Western Norway, which means that you need powerful machines for cultivating the land and small machines suitable for roads.
I made one of the fields very steep, like a ski slope, so you can really make the most of your tractors.
There are a lot of bushes around most of the fields, inspired by the hedges on British maps.
This is my second map at the moment, and I haven't created any objects myself. I use buildings from the base game and prefabricated structures.
The map requires an installed fantastic BuildingsOfNorway mod. This is because Norwegian buildings are taken from this fashion.
The prices for the purchased plots correspond to the value of the land and the purpose of the buildings that are located on it.
Since most buildings can be sold, the sale price, unfortunately, may be higher than what you paid for the land.
To use BGA, you need to buy it. If you want to use bunker silos, you also need to buy a plot of land.
On the map you will find:
- Main road, small public roads and farm trails.
- Fjords and rivers where you can fill your tanks with water.
- Several farms with fields and pastures for animals.
- 62 land plots for sale.
- 88 mission fields, they are of different sizes and shapes, both arable and grassy.
- Several woodlands and an open plot of land No. 62 for creating your own territory.
- More than 10 points of sale that accept different products.
- A train that can be used to sell goods.
- Several hosted production points.
- BGA and bunker silos.
- A sawmill with a pond.
- 100 collectible slices of cheese on the map.
- 2 observation towers located in good locations. |
