Make your virtual farm greener and more sustainable. The free Precision Farming DLC ​​adds new mechanics to the game based on real smart farming technology. This includes soil types, soil sampling, economic analysis, and farm eco-accounts.
Yield sensors, various mechanics for its dynamic increase and care for it will save seeds, lime, fertilizer, herbicide, fuel and, as a result, money. And in addition, the impact of the farm on the environment will decrease. The John Deere R732i PowrSpray sprayer, the ISARIA Scout soil sampler and the ISARIA PRO Active sensor will add opportunities for farm sustainability.
The new Precision Farming tab in the menu has all the data on crop optimization, financial control and farm management. Soil map filters show the current state of the soil, and your every action is reflected in the economic analysis. The Eco Farm Score shows how sustainable your farming is. It is calculated from reduced cultivation, nitrogen levels, weed control by spot spraying, and more.
The Precision Farming Free Add-on is a project started by John Deere in Germany and funded by EIT Food (a leading European food innovation initiative). The EU also participates in the financing of the project, and the project is needed to highlight agricultural technologies for sustainable development, together with the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research (Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research) of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Spanish company Grupo AN, the German Hohenge and the British University of Reading.
