The new Axial-Flow harvesters from International Harvester, which debuted in 1977, revolutionized harvesting thanks to an efficient threshing rotor placed on its axis. This new method of threshing provides better grain quality with less grain damage due to fast and strong threshing of grain in a conventional combine. You also get exceptional separation using the axial flow method, gone are the days when strawmakers just threw out the crop, with the rotor that you get during separation using centrifugal force. You will find that the new Axial-Flow harvesters will bring you more harvest.

How does the Axial Flow harvester work? Your crop is fed through an inclined chamber, where the rotor impeller harvests and launches it back in a spiral. At the first moment, the rasps on the rotor surround it and repeatedly beat off the vegetable mass about the drumming. The culture then moves in its posterior spiral to the separation grid, where the centrifugal force affects the optimal separation. The bed of the augers under the rotor feeds the grain into a traditional cleaning system with 2 sieves, where air is blown through them, this airflow pushes small chaff particles out of the back of the combine, where they are thrown out by spreaders. The pure grain falls through the sieves into the lower grain tray, where the auger and elevator transfer the grain to the grain hopper.
