The introduction of the MF 1200 in 1972 was a unique solution to the problems of so many farmers.

Designed from the outset as an AWD tractor with the same wheel dimensions, the MF 1200 avoided many of the disadvantages inherent in its more traditional AWD rivals, which were simply transformations of existing AWD models.
Steering wheel double chassis is equipped with a 105DIN Perkins A6.354 engine, a safety cab on the front chassis and a three-point linkage system built into the rear block. Providing excellent weight distribution during operation, the MF 1200 has been endowed with outstanding maneuverability, traction and comfort; especially in adverse conditions.
In 1980, thanks to years of field experience throughout Europe, the MF 1250 was introduced, retaining all the qualities of its predecessor and incorporating many improvements. Power has been increased by installing a new Perkins A6.354.4 engine with 112DIN hp. at 2500 rpm. The transmission had several modifications, including a new heavy-duty Mark II Multi-Power transmission. A 28% increase in lift capacity ensures efficient control of all attachments.
Several dealers have equipped the MF 1250 with a Turbo system, increasing power and improving fuel efficiency.
