Tesla Supercharger is a 480V DC fast charging technology developed by the American car manufacturer Tesla, Inc. for their all-electric vehicles. The Tesla Supercharger network of fast charging stations was launched in 2012. As of March 2020, Tesla operates over 17,000 Superchargers at 1,942 stations worldwide (an average of 8.8 chargers per station), including 993 stations in North America, 543 in Europe, and 406 in Asia Pacific. The blower legs have a connector to supply 72kW, 150kW or 250kW of power through a DC connection to the 400V vehicle battery. |
