Toyota Supra (Japanese ト ヨ タ ・ ス ー プ ラ) is a serial sports car manufactured by Toyota from 1978 to 2002. The Supra design was adopted from Toyota Celica, but the body became longer and wider. Since mid-1986, Supra has separated from Celica, becoming an independent model. In this regard, Toyota stopped using the Celica prefix, and the car was simply called Supra. Due to the similarity with the name Celica, they are often confused. The first, second and third generations of Supra were assembled at a factory in Tahara, and the fourth generation at a factory in the city of Toyota.
