At the 2012 auto show in Paris, Ford presented a series of new products. One of which became a real sensation in 2012, as it was supposed to immediately crush all its competitors from Japan to the US coast (from east to west) - this is the Ford Focus 3 ST. The new (third) generation Ford Focus ST is informally referred to as a “hot tangerine cocktail” and this machine was not given such a name by accident.

The first thing that catches your eye is the exterior of the car. The hatchback Ford Focus ST 2012-2014 model year was presented in bright orange. And the “Tangerine Scream” technology gives gloss to this car and its unusual color saturation. The new Ford Focus 3 ST, as we have already noted, was originally presented in the back of a “five-door hatchback”, but for the “practical European drive enthusiasts” a station wagon - Ford Focus 3 ST Wagon was also presented.

Unlike the “civilian Focus” family, cars with the ST prefix have pronounced sports, frankly aggressive colors. The vehicle profile is made in sharp contours and with a streamlined surface, which allows to improve the aerodynamic and speed characteristics of the car. The wheels here are in a completely different format - with five bearings, stylized as the letter “Y”.
