- The BMW X6 crossover, which debuted in 2008, was created as a more "asphalt", sports version of the X5. It differed from the original model in the design of the front end, a low sloping roof and a four-seater saloon. The interior and technical stuffing were the same, the BMW X6 also had automatic all-wheel drive and optional adaptive suspension. The only significant difference is that an active rear differential was installed on the X-sixth, which transfers more torque to one of the rear wheels by locking the clutches for better cornering control.
