bmw e39 - modification of the bmw body of the "fifth" series, which was produced from 1995 to 2003 inclusive. the predecessor of this body was bmw e34, and it was replaced by bmw e60 (in 2003) and bmw f10 (in 2010) in a completely new style of bmw. the basic model in the family was the model 520i. its two-liter engine produced 150 hp, and after restyling the volume rose to 2.2 liters, and the power to 170 hp. version m5 was released in 1998. it was equipped with an engine v8 s62, which was made on the basis of m62b44. all modifications, except the 535 and m5 were available in sedan and wagon bodies. 535 and m5 was produced only in the back of the sedan.
