MOD VOLKSWAGEN BORA FOR CAR MECHANIC SIMULATOR 2018

In 1997, the fourth generation Volkswagen Golf debuted on the market.

The German manufacturer had to use the same mode as the Vento model, which was produced until 1998. Volkswagen decided to change the name of the model, which in the case of the fourth generation was named Bora. So the Jetta, Jetta II, Vento came about, and in 1998 it was time for the Bora. Interestingly, in other markets the car was available as the Jetta or City Jetta, and in Mexico it was called the Volkswagen Clasico.

The car was produced at factories in Germany, Mexico, China, Ukraine, Slovakia and Poland. Compared to its predecessor, the Bora was slightly shorter, but taller and wider. There was also a combination version in some car markets, but in Poland this model was called the Golf Variant and the Bora was only sold as a 4-door sedan.

Bora had versions with sedan and station wagon bodies. Unlike its predecessors, the car was different in design from its sister "Golf".
The car looked fresher than its predecessor. The headlights were still rectangular.

Inside the Bora was a dashboard taken from the Golf MK4. The best versions had an automatic climate control system, velor upholstery and even wood inserts on the center console.

The amount of space in the cabin has remained practically unchanged. Unfortunately, the trunk has shrunk. Only 455 liters are available, but after folding the backs of the rear seats it could be increased to 785 liters. Moreover, the 4Motion version of the boot has a capacity of just 340 liters, which is almost the same as the Golf.

From the very beginning of production, the car was available with gasoline engines: 1.4 75 hp, 1.6 100 hp. s., 1.8 4Motion 125 hp. S. And strong 2.3 VR5 150 hp C. Over time, the 1.6-liter engine was improved and the 1.8 was replaced by the 1.8 powerful engine, which initially developed 150 and then even 180 hp. The top-of-the-line petrol engine was the 2.8-liter V6, which was standard on the 4Motion drive. Engine with 204 hp and a torque of 270 accelerated the car to 235 km / h.

Volkswagen also produced diesel engines, each of which was a 1.9-liter 4-cylinder diesel, ranging from the SDI to the most powerful version of the TDI. It has already produced 150 hp. and 320 torque and provided good performance and decent fuel consumption.

The Volkswagen Bora, intended for the European market, was produced until 2005, when it was replaced by a new model called the Jetta on the Old Continent. Bora's advantages include a very comfortable interior, quality materials, rich equipment and reliable and economical 1.9 TDI diesel engines. The disadvantages of the car may be a smaller trunk than the previous version.
