MOD PORSCHE 550 1955 FOR CAR MECHANIC SIMULATOR 2018 From the author: My tenth car in the 2018 CMS is a 1955 Porsche 550 (also called 1500 RS). The Porsche 550 was produced from 1953 to 1955 (82-90 units depending on the source), and then as the 550 A version until 1957 (118 units in total). The car made famous the legendary James Dean, who, unfortunately, died in his Porsche 550. I love his films, so I wanted to do something in his memory. The roadster is clean and has a tubular frame. Its weight was only 550 kg - 110 hp - 220 km / h. I tried to simulate as close as possible to the original, unfortunately, we do not have a 4-cylinder Boxer engine in the game. I decided to take a 911-6 cylinder engine with a shroud. I am not satisfied with driving performance, it is not easy to drive a car. If you want a functional steering wheel, I recommend replacing my homemade steering wheel (fender_rear_right) with a Bowen or other for example. All leaves and doors can be opened. Known Issues: The exhaust for the Replica Version does not match the engine, I had to turn the 911 engine 180 degrees to use it as a mid engine. Only one paint is possible because I used the body_steel material for the outer parts. I like the aluminum-like look. Liveries are not possible due to body_steel-Material. Only James Dean version is available (start number 130, Little Bastard sticker on the back).
