Main model: Assetto Corsa Game Developer. This is a mod that was released many years ago on Russian mod sites. Adam Gunchokov who originally ported the car over from Assetto Corsa, credit goes to them for porting the car into BeamNG and porting it onto a 2015 game build of the Civetta Bolide. Around August 2023, I took it upon myself to revamp the mod and improve it to the current game's standard. I started working on this for personal use in my free time. I've since sunk hundreds of hours of my free time into this mod. Please be respectful of all the effort put into this mod by me and the others who worked on it originally years ago. Please don't pass this car off as just a "mesh-slap". Just me alone, I've put in enough effort for it to be undeserving of this title. Alexthetrainliker: Came up with this car's in-game name and contributed to this release with his J58 logo texture that was part of the original release. I pasted it onto the car body. Includes some of his configs in this release. The Why Why Why and Death Trap are his configs. Thank you, Alex.
Base Car. Weight: 1249 KG(with both 60L bladders full) Weight: 1030 KG(with rollcage and both 60L bladders full) Power Unlocked: 1000 BHP The car doesn't have a very good collision Jbeam, but that was never the main focus of my revamp I had planned for this mod. I made this car a challenge to drive, but also fun and rewarding in its difficulty to drive. The car has no traction control, no anti-lock brakes - it is just you and the car on the road or track. A controller or steering wheel is definitely recommended for driving the cars in this mod. I hope you enjoy. ======Version 3 Hotfix 4====== Changelog Fixed wheels catching on fire after hard driving issue. Fixed LM rims having inverted faces on the model. Added in the carbon-ceramic brake rotor model original to the model from Assetto Corsa. Added in textures original to the brake rotor model and made ambient occlusion, metallic, roughness, and normal map textures. Textures are from Assetto Corsa, but adapted to work by me. Removed "race brakes" and added "Carbon-Ceramic Brakes" and "Carbon Ceramic Brakepads". Credits: Speed_Freak13 |
